Despite strike called by separatists against braid chopping incidents in the Kashmir valley, 69 persons travelled in the weekly Karvan-e-Aman bus, operating between Srinagar and Muzaffarabad, capital of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), on Monday.

  The travelers, included 26 fresh residents of POK and two Kashmiris, who crossed the Line of Control (LoC) to meet their relatives, separated in 1947 due to partition.

Raina, Deputy Director and Dr. Anjita Salgotra, Medical Officer, Fire & Emergency Services Jammu were also present.  While interacting with the officers and jawans at Fire & Emergency Services Gandhi Nagar, he assured that all their genuine grievances will be addressed within the shortest possible time.
