JKSRLM organises State Level Training Programme on Model CLF, its sub-structures

NIN NEWS SERVICE | JAMMU, NOVEMBER 13:  Mission Director JKSRLM Abdul Rashid war on Tuesday inaugurated a four-day residential training programme for block level officials. The training is organised by JKSRLM in collaboration with National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj.

A team of four experts from Ministry of Rural Development (MORD) are imparting training to District programme Mangers ,Block  programme Managers of Jammu Division .

MLA Nagrota meets Governor

NIN NEWS SERVICE |JAMMU, NOVEMBER 13: Sh. Devender Singh Rana, MLA Nagrota met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here today.

Sh. Rana presented to Governor a copy of the “Project Proposal- Conservation of Heritage Components on Traditional Vaishno Devi Route” and requested Governor who is also the Chairman of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board for the revival of the traditional route to the Shrine which starts from Jagti in Nagrota and ends  at Nomain and urged that this should be developed as an alternate route for the pilgrims visiting the Shrine. He also drew attention to the conservation of heritage assets particularly the step wells, ponds, sarais, temples, springs etc. on the old route.

Horticulture Depttorganises awareness camp-cum-Kissan Mela in Bandipora

NIN NEWS SERVICE | BANDIPORA, NOVEMBER 13: The Department of Horticulture Tuesday held an awareness-cum-kissan mela in Bandipora with an aim to create awareness among orchardists regarding the use of new technologies in improving the produce besides apprising them of the monetary support in terms of subsidies under various schemes.

The camp was presided over by Chief Horticulture Officer Manzoor Ahmad Chief Agriculture Officer Bandipora Mohammad Qasim and other officers of the department.
