Government Middle School, Behrote is a small school having strength of 08 teachers and 80 students and is located in a remote area of Rajouri District.
The school authorities approached the Indian Army for upgradation of the infrastructure. A project was envisaged and executed by the Army to improve the basic infrastructure of the school, with an aim to provide good furniture which would motivate students in learning as also to enhance standards of education in the school. In a function under the Sadhbhavana initiative furniture was provided to the school . The items distributed included chairs, tables, and double seater desks with benchs attached and book shelfs .
The function was attended by the teaching staff, school children, parents and locals of the nearby villages. The program concluded with a vote of thanks from the School Headmaster, Mohd Asif Khan. Sarpanch of Behrote who humbly thanked the Army for understanding the needs of the people and providing the much needed infrastructure to the school.
