J&K SPCB organizes public hearing for extension of Jammu Airport Runway

JAMMU DECEMBER 13:J&K SPCB Jammu in collaboration with Airport Authority of India (AM),   organized   a Public Hearing  here at Belicharana Jammu for extension of Jammu Airport T, Runway.

At the outset, the participants were welcomed  and   briefed about the salient features of the project.

Ramban: Awareness rally held under SVEEP

RAMBAN DECEMBER 13: To sensitize people about their constitutional right to franchise, social and moral duties besides ongoing Special Summary Revision (SSR), Education department in coordination with District Administration Ramban organized an awareness rally at Ramban under Systematic Voter's Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) programme.

KVIB sets up 1677 micro industrial units this fiscal under PMEGP

JAMMU, DECEMBER 13: Jammu and Kashmir Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) has established 1677 micro industrial units under Prime Minister’s Employment Generation Programme (PMEGP) this fiscal.

The information was revealed at a meeting chaired by Vice Chairperson KVIB Dr Hina Shafi Bhat today to review the performance of the Board here.

Div Com reviews operation of chopper service to hilly districts

JAMMU DECEMBER 13: Divisional Commissioner, Sanjeev Verma today asked the police to ensure foolproof security for passengers availing chopper service. 

Chairing a meeting of senior functionaries of tourism, service Provider Company, besides Deputy Commissioners of the districts availing Chopper service through video conference,   the Div Com took a thorough review of the procedure followed for the operation of sorties.

Farooq Shah seeks all basic facilities for migrants, refugees

JAMMU, DECEMBER 13: Secretary Disaster Management, Relief, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (DMRRR), Farooq Ahmed Shah, Thursday chaired a meeting here to review the facilities being provided to the migrants and refugees.

Deputy Commissioner Jammu, Ramesh Kumar, Relief Commissioner M L Raina, officers from Revenue, DMRRR and allied departments were present in the meeting along with the representatives of the migrants and refugees.
