Vehicle falls into river Chenab, 6 fears dead

Jammu, APR. 25: Six persons are feared to be killed and four others injured when the vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and rolled down into Chenab River on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Ramban district today. The persons on board Tata Tavera vehicle bearing registration number JK03D/8876 were on their way to Srinagar from Jammu when the mishap took place at Nehad belt in Ramban, a senior police officer said.

Hanjuru takes stock of damages to standing crops in RS Pura area

 

 

 

NIN NEWS SERVICE | JAMMU:Minister for Agriculture, Ghulam Nabi Lone Hanjura today visited Badyal Brahmna, Dherian, Hansa Chak, Agra Chak, Fateh Pur Salarian, Baspur Bangla, Suchetgarh, Abdul Basti and RS Pura and took stock of the damages to standing crops, including vegetable and other cultivations, due to recent rains.

DGP CRPF calls on Governor

NIN NEWS SERVICE | JAMMU: Prakash Misra, DGP, CRPF, called on N.N. Vohra, Governor, here at the Raj Bhavan today.

DGP Misra briefed the Governor about the obtaining security situation and the arrangements being made for the smooth conduct of the forthcoming Shri Amarnathji Yatra-2015. Misra also informed the Governor about the steps being taken to further tighten the security arrangements for the Shri Vaishno Devi Yatra.

MS Dhoni will be left to beg and become penniless one day: Yograj Singh

 

 

 

New Delhi: Just after a day when Yuvraj Singh stated on Thursday that Mahendra Singh Dhoni is still a good friend, his father Yograj Singh cursed the Indian skipper saying there will be a day when Dhoni will be left to beg and become penniless and would not get any favor.
