Crime Branch presents challan in fake appointment case

NIN NEWS SERVICE | Srinagar: Crime Branch Kashmir on 14th May 2015 presented the charge sheet of case Fir No. 35 of 2010 U/S 420, 468, 471, 201, 120-B RPC before the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar. The instant case was registered on the directions passed by the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Srinagar vide its orders dated 28.10.2010 with regard to the complaint presented by Rafiq Ahmad Joo (Advocate).

CCF visited Chenab valley : Cracks down on forest land grabbers in Bhalessa continue, 200 kanals of land retrieved

DODA: Continuing its offensive against the Forest land encroachers as per the direction by  Forest Minister  t a team of Forest officials today  and FPF led by Range Officer Bhalesa  Azad Hussain under the supervision of T B Singh, DFO Bhaderwah have retrieved nearly 102 kanals Forest land in compartment no. 107/Bh and 108/Bh of Bhales Range. The Forest land was encroached many years back by the locals of the area namely Sharzma s/o All Mohammad, Nazir Ahmed s/o Mohd sattar, Ali Goni s/o Ab Ibrahim, youg Raj s/o Hoishar Singh, shamlal s/o Munshi Ram etc .

Akhtar releases Rs 10 lakh CDF for Sopore, Palhallan schools

NIN NEWS SERVICE | BARAMULLA:  Minister for Education, Mr Naeem Akhtar has announced Rs 5 lakh each for Government Girls Higher Secondary School Sopore and Government Boys High School Palhallan (Pattan) from his Constituency Development Fund (CDF) for upgrading furniture and laboratory facilities at these schools.

Border residents block national highway demanding water

NIN NEWS SERVICE | Kathua: Residents of various frontier villages of the district on Friday blocked the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway in a protest, demanding the administration to restore potable water supply to their areas.

Scores of irated men and women of various border villages marched on the Jammu-Pathankot National Highway and blocked the vehicular traffic for more than one hour near Palli Morh as they demanded the administration to restore the potable water supply to their villages.
