Kumar Vishwas `illicit relationship` row: Woman wants AAP leader to come clean

New Delhi: After being accused of passing sexist remarks, senior Aam Aadmi Party leader Dr Kumar Vishwas is now in the middle of another controversy.

The poet-cum-politician is now accused by a female member of AAP of staying mum on rumours of having illicit relationship with her. Delhi Commission for Women has summoned the AAP leader and his wife on the basis of a complaint filed by the female party volunteer.

N Srinivasan forcing gay son to marry woman, personal letters reveal

New Delhi: Former BCCI chief N Srinivasan on Monday was accused by his gay son Ashwin of forcing him to marry a woman in order to continue their family lineage.

This shocking revelation was made by DNA newspaper in an interview with Srinivason's son.

N Srinivasan gives up Chennai Super Kings ownership: Reports

New Delhi: Former Board of Control for Cricket India (BCCI) president Narayanaswami Srinivasan has reportedly transferred his entire stake in India Cements - the principal owners of Chennai Super Kings - to a trust.

Reports said that Srinivasan's 29 per cent will now go to the India Cements Cricketers' Trust, thus sacrificing the ownership of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise. The trust takes care of the interest of former cricketers employed with the company.

Al Qaeda's India wing targets PM Narendra Modi, says he called for Muslims to be 'burnt alive'

New Delhi: In a first, the al Qaeda in the Indian Subcontinent (AQIS) has directly mentioned Prime Minister Narendra Modi in a video message released by its publicity wing As-Sahab on May 2.

AQIS chief Maulana Asim Umar, in the video titled ‘From France to Bangladesh: The Dust Will Never Settle Down’, mentioned PM Modi in context of what he claims as the war against Muslims.

Fake degree row: Kejriwal defends Tomar, says satisfied with Law Minister's response

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Sunday defended his Law Minister Jitender Singh Tomar, accused of faking his law degree, and called for a "public trial" of the media.

If Tomar had done any wrong, Kejriwal said he would have surely asked him to step down.

"I am not Tomar`s relative or friend. I had sought an explanation from Tomar on the controversy. He gave a satisfactory answer and said he wasn`t at fault as his degree is genuine," Kejriwal said.
