New Delhi: May 6, 2015 indeed is a black day for Bollywood and B-Town lovers as their favourite Salman Khan has been sentenced to 5 years in jail in the 2002 hit-and run case.

Salman's family - who stood as pillar of strength in the moment of crisis - have been shattered by the verdict. While the superstar broke down and remained motionless when he was pronounced guilty, his mother Salma's health went down back home.

New Delhi: "Humari police humesha late aati hai aur galat insaan ko hi arrest karti hai," superstar Salman Khan's dialogue in his last film "Kick" proved almost prophetic today as he was pronounced guilty in an over 12-year-old hit-and-run case.

The 49-year-old actor, known for his macho, informidable avatar on-screen, broke down as the judge pronounced the fateful verdict. However, in the film he put up a brave face when he was being imprisoned.
